An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Graphic Designer / Artworker role. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to support and become a key part of the sales function, someone who can bring technical skill and creativity to the department and new ideas, a real energetic ‘self starter’.
Reporting into the Bid Manager, you will assist in managing the tender process for new business, specifically responding to requests for information, designing bespoke tender bids and proposals and preparing presentations and unique schemes.
Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes using Adobe InDesign.
Exceptional eye for detail.
Contribute, communicate and influence at a senior level.
Responsible for the production, editing, formatting, proof reading and publication of submission documents.
Ensuring all major and strategic tenders have conformed to the bid management review process.
Ensuring that a pre-tender checklist has been undertaken and that the organisational aspects of the checklist have been referred to and agreed with the appropriate sales manager.
Document control and distribution.
Management and coordination of bid team diaries; issuing prompts and reminders according to busy schedules.
Monitoring and communicating tender clarifications to the sales team.
A good understanding of Social Media.
Monitoring and coordination of the proposal project plan, making sure this is updated on a regular basis.
Assembling supporting information such as QA Certificates, H&S Documentation, etc. from central resource.
Provide admin support for selected conferences, including: ordering and collating promotional materials, booking hotels, courier management.
Sales Presentations – Format PowerPoint, design and print boards and other demonstration material.
Sales Site Visits – ensure marketing standards at high level for site visits by perspective clients and general co-ordination of team members and time plans.
To be considered for the role, you must demonstrate a genuine interest in the world of Sales and have a keen interest in food and trends.
You will also show flexibility with regards to working hours as your workload would be dictated by the needs of the business as this flows through the year.
You must also possess productive and efficient work speed, excellent time management and the ability to work on several work items at once is crucial.
Advanced experience in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is essential. Experience of Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage.
Confidence, a positive approach and good communication skills are vital to this role, enabling you to gather verbal and written information accurately and proactively produce documentation.

Developing new ideas to ensure competitiveness against competitors
Work with the wider WSH group including the BaxterStorey & Caterlink sales teams to ensure that new ideas are collaborated
