Job Description
We are now looking for a talented Chef Supervisor with a good craft skills background to join our team at our client prestigious Junior school at Lingfield Notre Dame, Surrey.
We cater for over 450 pupils and staff and operate a breakfast and lunch service.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate good culinary ability (a trade test will be required) good organisational skills, a proven ability to supervisor their team and to inspire their team to constantly improve standards.
As well as having a real passion for food and service, the ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and man management skills.

Assistant Chef Manager
Area: South East
Salary: Circa £22,000
Hours: Hours as required to meet the needs of the business including regular weekend working.
Job Description
Assistant Chef Manager required for a special school site with extensive hospitality including conferences and wedding receptions.
We are looking for someone with outstanding craft skills and previous experience in Independent Schools and catering for functions.
Your role will involve deputising for both the General Manager and Head Chef in a contract including housekeeping and portering services.
You will be an effective communicator with excellent customer care skills, be able to think on your feet and adopt a "hands on approach" when needed.
You must also be flexible with regard to working patterns and be prepared to regularly work evenings and weekends.
Hours of work 40 per week on a 5 days out of 7 basis to meet the needs of the business

Job Description
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious Head Chef to join and lead our team at our prestigious independent school located in Upper Dicker, East Sussex.
We provide high standards, a fresh food offer of breakfast, lunch and dinner services to a site population of 1000 over 7 days a week. There is also extensive hospitality.
The kitchen has been redesigned and the stunning dining room and server are brand new, making it a truly exciting time to join. We want you to use your creative flair, using fresh seasonal produce and always looking at opportunities to develop the offer further.
It is important to us that you can demonstrate a real passion for food and service and possess bags of enthusiasm and you will also be required to:
- Ideally have had contract catering experience
- Be up to date with current food trends
- Demonstrate excellent culinary skills
- Be a proven, hands-on leader
- Be efficient and organised
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge
- Be financially astute
- Be innovative and creative
- Need to be driven by excellence
- Have good IT literacy
- Demonstrate great attention to detail
- Must show a friendly outgoing personality and be able to remain calm under pressure
The position is available immediately.
This a 7 days a week operation, you will be working 5 days out 7 on a 40 hours working week.
