1st July 2009 - The Environment Matters
On the 1st of July, Mike Hanson, Head of Environmental Management for BaxterStorey and Holroyd Howe Independent, collected a Major Commendation from Richard Lambert, Director General of the CBI at the 2009 Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Environmental Leadership Awards in London.
Proud to be the first company in the UK food service industry to trial energy-from-waste programmes for collected food waste, this award was made in recognition of our tenacious drive in challenging existing environmental performance across our sites and across supplier and customer base.
