Thursday 17th November saw the first Food File for the 2016-2017 term. The event was held at Summerfields School, Oxford.

The Food File was attended by over 70 Holroyd Howe managers and chefs from schools across the country, along with the operation managers and directors. 

The evening started with a welcoming speech from Ronan Harte, Managing Director.


The Food File showcased new innovations including 'Fast East Feast' with dishes including       Tonkatsu (crispy fried pork),   Gomashio (black sesame rice) and Namul (seasoned vegetables)...

A live chef demonstration featuring various fresh pasta dishes including cannelloni with roasted squash, butternut squash & chorizo carbonara and turkey & cranberry meatballs... 

A German Christmas market featuring Schweinshaxe, Bratwurst and Lebkuchen...

The evening finished with a raffle for the Holroyd Howe Foundation on behalf of Millie’s Trust. The raffle contained some wonderful prizes from our suppliers and raised over £320.

Ronan commented: ''It was wonderful to see so many members of the team attend the Food File, it’s lovely to see everyone sharing ideas and stories.
Our chef team worked really hard to make this evening a success, and the food on offer was incredible. We are now fully prepared and ready for the festive season!''
